With rated landscape throughput speeds of 34ppm for the 500
FB, 46ppm for the 1000 FB and 65ppm for the 2000S/D FB, these versatile scanners offer a compelling combination of features, all backed by Bell & Howell’s extensive network of respected and responsive service technicians.
The robust, built-in Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) handles documents up to 12”x17”, from thick to thin, mint condition to crumpled. And for bound or fragile documents that can’t go through the feeder, the flatbed can handle them all.
More Efficient by Design
The focus of the FB Series is on ergonomics. Documents are autofed and received from the front of the scanner, for fatigue-free operation. Plus, each scanner is also equipped with an ADF for batch feeding documents, so that long jobs seem shorter and easier and productivity goes up.

It’s easy to see the advantages of the FB Series. With optical resolution of 400 dpi and interpolated resolution up to 800 dpi on the 500 FB and 2000S/D
FB, pictures come out crisp and clear.
Easy Integration, Natural Migration
All three models in the FB Series integrate easily into any imaging system, thanks to compatibility with most popular interface boards and application software support. A SCSI interface comes standard with each unit, or there’s a video option on the 1000 FB model that makes connecting to many imaging applications remarkably simple. The 2000S/D FB is the first A3 scanner to meet stringent specifications of the EPA’s Energy Star Program and Low Noise Rating. Other user-conscious features include an Endorser Function enabling printing up to 19 characters for easy retrieval of
mission-critical images.
